To put it mildly, I’m fucking terrified!

I just know some huge shit is going to go down that I have no idea how to fix and i’ll end up having to call someone to help me. I deal with outages and issues everyday but something about getting woken up at 2am and expected to figure out why nobody can make outgoing calls or why some hospital can’t send X-rays is a totally different story.

Fell of the fitness wagon big time after the engagement party. Not real happy about that but my buddy Crook is back at it so that should make it a lot easier to stay on this time. Also volleyball is finally over so I don’t have to worry about drinking a bunch of beer every Friday and eating drunken shit food which I was doing a lot. Tomorrow it starts again.

I knew the moment I got out of bed this morning and looked out the window today was going to be a perfect fall day. This without a doubt has to be my favorite time of year. Once again the comfy sweatshirts move from the back of the closet to the more accessable front. The air is crisp and the leaves are changing and outside just has an awesome autumn smell about it. One of the greatest things fall brings is the return of the Honeycrisp apples. If you’ve never tried one believe me you need to and you will wonder how you ever ate another kind of apple from that point on.

Great article giving new hope to getting the iPhone without the shit sandwich of a provider a.k.a. AT&T!

This gives me great hope that I may someday own an iPhone again, for a 3rd and hopefully final time.  I’ve already bought and returned 2 of them so far. The first one I was blown away by how totally awesome this phone was. I got it home and couldn’t put it down but right off the bat I was unhappy with the service in my neighborhood and the battery life. I don’t have a house line so it was imperative it worked well in my house which it did not. The battery life could have just been from all the playing on it I did but regardless I returned it on the basis of service issues.

Then Apple comes out with the software upgrade which was suppose to fix the radio issues and give better service levels. Wrong, still had same crappy coverage in my area and again returned it.

Next they came out with the 3GS. Finally put in the landscape keyboard, voice commands, compass and MMS (if AT&T ever stops being fuckheads). Also many people say the 3GS gets much better battery life but until I can get the iPhone minus AT&T I will never own one.

So I just started playing Magic the Gathering  last week and as luck would have it I pulled one of the most desireable cards out of a booster pack.

Behold, the Baneslayer Angel:

Mine was a foil which makes it even more rare! Right now these bad boys are going for around $50 on eBay.

For the past 2 weeks the other team has forfeited the match on our volleyball league. That brings us to a 6 game winning streak! This couldn’t have worked out better seeing as 2 weeks ago I managed to pull my groin for the first time in my life. Ouch! The 2 weeks of easy wins has allowed me to heal nicely and I didn’t even miss any games.

You know you are getting older though when your fiance says to you:

“Honey I think you need to realize you’re at the age where you need to stretch before playing”.
