Lydia & I finally saw this tonight and to sum it up using one word, wow! The special effects were crazy wicked and the 3d computer operating system was totally sweet.

As a bonus there were no annoying people in the movie talking or munching extra loud which is a rare thing these days.

Our first volleyball game of the season didn’t go how I expected it to last night. We lost all 3 games and looked like a bunch of noobs out there.

I was pleased with my performance. Got a couple nice blocks, couple aces on the serve but didn’t put down any hits. As a team I wasn’t too upset about the way we played. Everyone gave a good effort and I still had a lot of fun despite losing. I think there is winning potential on our team and next week I think we will look much better now that we have gotten this loss out of our system. It gave us a chance to learn how each other plays and what we can and can’t do as individuals.

One thing I do look forward to is it getting a little warmer out since my feet were numb after playing in that cold sand, ouch.

Spent a little time today figuring out why Lightbox2 was failing to display pictures properly but I found the root of the problem. Turns out for whatever reason the plugin Live Post Preview was causing java errors which after being deactivated ceased to occur. I just removed it all together since it doesn’t work with my current theme anyways so no skin off my back. So to make a long story short pictures can be properly viewed using Internet Explorer 7 and the Lightbox2 java script which is a good thing.

On another note not  now that I’m starting to get some content on this site I need to figure out an intelligent categories and tags theme to implement to make navigating this page easier down the road. I’m currently working on some schemes but haven’t made any decisions yet.

I also need to get around to making an official About page instead of the default.
